When the food is so good, you order extra and the owners win your heart! The kitfo brought back the sweetest childhood memories of Kitfo bets in Yohannes area in Addis Ababa, and the owners’ genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The mom cooks in the kitchen while the dad takes care of the customers a typical Ethiopian feeling brought from thousands of miles. The food was so delicious we couldn’t resist ordering extra and even though we couldn’t finish it, they were so kind and didn’t charge us for one of the dishes when we came back on another day. Luhen in Vegas, this is definitely one of our favorite spots! we’ll be back! ????????

It is a great spot if you're looking to try delicious Ethiopian food. The food is flavorful, the place is clean, and the vibe is modern. The service is a little bit slow; they take a while to bring the food except that It's definitely worth a visit if you want a good experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at Luhena Restaurant and Bar, and I have to say — this place is a true hidden gem in Las Vegas. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They asked if it was our first time trying Ethiopian food and took the time to explain each dish with genuine passion and care. That alone already made the experience stand out. We ordered the Luhena Special Kitfo, served medium — absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, the meat was tender, and the plate came with a generous variety of traditional sides: injera, ayib, kocho, and more. The portions were more than enough to share. You can taste the authenticity in every bite — and yes, the food is prepared by an Ethiopian woman in the kitchen, which says it all. Pure soul and tradition behind every plate. The place is very clean, warm, and beautifully run by a team that clearly cares about what they do. The service was impeccable — friendly, attentive, and proud of their culture. You can tell this isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a piece of Ethiopia brought to life in Las Vegas. This was my first time at Luhena, and it won’t be the last. I strongly recommend it to anyone looking to discover something truly authentic, flavorful, and memorable. Five stars without hesitation.

I went to Vegas for conference and I knew I had to visit this spot. I knew this place when they were in small location and this is much better place and as always the food was amazing. No second best. My friend was willing to fly from Seattle to eat kitfo. He settled for picture. My Mexican friend who doesn't like raw meat was blown away with the best kitfo and lamb tibs. I am not sure why some complained about service but the two amazing doctor and pre med children's were amazing host and provided amazing service. I don't think I will eat kitfo for a while. Keep up the good job guys.

After a 5-hour drive from LA, we arrived around 10 pm and were warmly greeted by Hanna at the entrance. Since it was our first visit, she kindly recommended the Kitfo and Beg Tibs. The food was served promptly, and both dishes were absolutely delicious — flavorful with just the right amount of kick. The service stood out as well. Hanna and Hermela checked on us multiple times to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. Another highlight was the restroom — clean and well-maintained, something that is often neglected at some Habesha restaurants. Overall, a wonderful first experience with excellent food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Incredible Ethiopian food with excellent service. We had the tartar and the lamb and they were so good. The lamb chops were so tender and super flavorful. I wish we had gone there before our last day so we could have gone back again. Big portion sizes. The staff were super nice as well. I felt bad we couldn't eat it all as it was so good and they were so nice. Super clean interior and nice place to talk too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing spot! Had dinner at Luhena Restaurant in Las Vegas last night and loved it! The food was great, the music was perfect, and the place looked beautiful and super clean. The staff were really friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Vegas — can’t wait to go back
